There is actually quite a LOT to know (and sometimes love) about caulk. Starting with tar and fiber used to caulk the cracks in board-built boats, up to hi-tech space-worthy stuff. And then there’s the whole thing about “caulk boots” in the woods (pronounced “cork boots”, by the way).
