The first time I heard Dob Dylan was in my freshman dorm. All the other guys were saying how fantastic he was, and I was thinking, “What a piece of sh*t!” But he grew on me.
Meh, never cared much for Bob Dylan. If you want enduring, try some actual classical music: William Tell Overture, Finlandia, so many others… the comedy of Gilbert and Sullivan (“I’ve Got a Little List” should be very popular today, in two updated versions)… or at least some modern classics like Rogers and Hammerstein, or the songs sung by the Rat Pack — Frank, Dean, Sammy… Nat King Cole… Dinah Shore, Judy Garland… orchestral pieces by Mancini and Williams, even Elfman… Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick… the songs written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David…

Bob Dylan’s lyrics are quite good. The tunes… not so much. His voice: Even less. In MY opinion.

Felicia is so lacking in taste that not even mint jelly could improve it.

Hhmmm…let’s see, sounds like a wheezy furnace duct…must be “Rainy Day Women…”, or maybe “Positively fourth Street.” Been a while.
