Must have been something from PIXAR. People have been complaining about them being out of ideas by cherry-picking the handful of sequels they’ve made recently, and ignoring the fact that even the sequels were successful.
I really really liked The Secret of NIMH … great cartoon work, imo, with nice panoramic scenes. Simplistic plot, but hey, cartoon! … and I liked some of the characters. However it got pretty low ratings way back then, and folks today claim it’s too slow. Tough. I like it and that’s enough for me.
