My advice to my son was always “Catch with the GLOVE!” I used to have him throw at my nose from about 20 feet and I would always catch it in the glove. He eventually got the idea and made the high school team for his defense, because, like me, he couldn’t hit a beach ball.

When I was little, and my father was teaching me to play baseball he used to yell, “That ball isn’t going to hurt you!”
My father obviously never got hit with a baseball before.

That’s the part that Charlie Brown could never master without getting undressed.

The advice in panel one should be adopted by the Astros’ pitching staff.
