I’m sure “sausage dogs” can’t jump that high with their stubby little legs.
Growing up in a large family, this never occurred.
Considering what she had the vet tear away from him years ago, this seems more than fair.
That dog would be looking for a new home if it were mine.
Dachshunds have a habit of “fly by theft”. NEVER leave any kind of food where any dog can get it. You are just inviting trouble.

Apparently Wally doesn’t have a problem with that.
That’s my family too. If there’s a cookie left, a tall glass full of milk left in the carton, etc. we want to make sure someone else can have it.
