Always nice to see Tarzan in his element, smiling because he finally can attack an ambushing native instead of the usual animal.

See, to Remu, “enemy” is defined as “someone I can kill by ambush.”

“Friend” is a term used for those who have just kicked Remu’s ass.

Tarzan is friend to all in village, now.

He almost poked Tarzan’s eye out with that cool looking bone through his nose.

So that “magic” stick in Remu’s hand yesterday turned into a seriously dangerous knife today. Now Tarzan will find brainless Betty Cole at the village chief’s feet scantily dressed and groveling for food scraps!

The first draft had Tarzan saying “Take me to your leader.”
