Wallace is moved to awe. Amelia is under whelmed. Spud is giving Sterling a worried side look while Sterling looks like he wants to eat Spud. One happy clam gives appreciation for a beautiful sight:)
I’m wondering how one watches the sunset over the water on the east coast. Are the McClellan’s on an island? That way they could have sunrise AND sunset over water.
Growing up near the Jersey Shore, the sun always rose over the Atlantic. It was very disconcerting to go out west, and see it setting over the ocean. But in South Florida, you can have it both ways!
Great Sunday comic! I worked on research ships for 6 years often in the middle of nowhere. I liked sunsets because if it clear enough you could see the green flash as the last of the sun set under the horizon.
There are many points in Rhode Island where you can watch the sun set. We lived in a cottage on some beach when I was a mere tad of a boy 5 or 6 . 1954 I remember we had a Woody Wagon. My little brother and I would go to the beach and find horse shoe crabs. I wish there were someone still around that could tell me more
Ah, the comics present such a glance back to yesterday (well maybe three or four weeks ago, anyway) – way back when nobody even knew the phrase “social distancing”. Leaves me nostalgic!

Amelia probably prefers sunrises…or she has no romance in her at all. (I prefer sunsets myself, far more colorful)

The trick is to watch the sun set on the beach, and then turn around to catch the moonrise over the ocean.

That’s kind of dangerous. Shouldn’t they be acting more guardedly?

Sunsets are lovely but I still prefer sunrises, the beginning of a new day.

This is how the lifeguards in Snug Harbor stress test their lifeguard chairs. Just leave them vacant in time for a sunset and let nature do the rest.

It’s just like Wallace to try and share the awesome with everybody, though. :)
