1A + 2B = 45 base 16 is 26 + 43 = 69 base 10.

I have to admit I did that in my head.

Sad thing is in the 80’s everyone made you add Octal, Hex, and Binary on a programmer interview. I bet most computer programmers can’t add in One of them

I though in hex 1A would equal 16+11, and 2B would equal 32+12, so the addition would come out to 71. Am I mis-remembering hexidecimal?
