Now, no back pedaling here now Charlie Brown. You got to hear what the League President has to say.

Charlie Brown is always good at making small talk with adults.

Perhaps Charlie Brown can visit Kenesaw Mountain in Georgia instead.

The heart and soul of baseball. The greatest commissioner of all, who saved baseball from the Blacksocks scandal. Wish he were here!

Well, nice foreshadowing. So maybe I should have been saying Black Sox instead of Pete Rose. Bet the league president says, though we obviously won’t see it, “Funny you should mention Kenesaw Mountain Landis.”

If KML was the commissioner today, Pete Rose would be in the hall of fame.

You wouldn’t have liked him, Charlie Brown.

That sort of reference would fit well in a modern episode of “Archer”. Completely obscure, and the show would make it as out of context as plausible.
