^Yeah? Well Canadians are boring! They hardly ever fight or kill each other. They get adequate health care. The gap between the rich and poor isn’t nearly as great as ours. Who wants that?

She sees even more power in being a congress woman than she currently has. Of course, she wants to be a congress woman…….. then it’s on to becoming president….. if this nation lasts long enough.

Danae has always only wanted 2 things. Getting rid of booger brained boys, and making a lot of easy money. Well, at least in Congress, she can do one of those.

cdward If the Canadians have adequate health care, why do they come to the States when they have a major health issue?

Why waste time sending an innocent to be corrupted when you can send a corrupt one to begin with? Worked for the current Speaker.

Jan: the middle class don’t come here for health care. Rich Canadians come to get the best care that can be bought, same as rich Americans. Middle class Americans get nothing any worse than the Canadians and pay a lot more for it. Thanks the insurance Co.’s that crashed the economy and chased businesses to communist countries for that.

And a lot of us in MI cross the bridge to Windsor for both health care “supplements” and real Molson and a good hockey game. So please stop buying the lies they sell you while you give away your rights to the Wrong-ists.

And because it’s free in Canada, there’s a lot of abuse of the system, I think. The wait to see specialists can take months and equally as long to get into a hospital for a procedure. I hope you never have a life threatening health problem in Canada. You may never live to get your proceudre. Yes you pay down here, but I think you get much more with what you pay for than in Canada.

The problem with corporations owning Congress is the same in healthcare and everywhere else. The degree of corruption in Congress will not be investigated because there is no one in the legislature who is not tainted with corruption to carry out an investigation. Look at the mess with the SEC and Madoff and Lehman. A big article saying that “snags”, a nice word for incompetence, may prevent any prosecutions in the Lehman mess. And now we are told that an undisclosed conflict of interest has tainted the SEC’s investigation of the other Madoff actors. Apparently unless someone pleads guilty, as Madoff did, the SEC can’t prosecute.

JanCinVV I keep hearing that canard from righties, but let’s face it - many Americans can neither afford to have their major health issues taken care of - or go to another country to get better care. I know a lot of Canadians, and when asked if they’d rather trade for our system, every single one laughed and said NEVER! Remember, Canadians can also buy private health insurance on top of their government basic insurance.

Now, nobody ever said the US didn’t have fantastic health care - only that there are an awful lot of Americans who have no access to any health care - and when major issues happen to them they either lose everything or die. Medical bankruptcy is a huge problem.

“Unless you’re a Warren Buffett or Bill Gates, you’re one illness away from financial ruin in this country,” says lead author Steffie Woolhandler, M.D., of the Harvard Medical School, in Cambridge, Mass. “If an illness is long enough and expensive enough, private insurance offers very little protection against medical bankruptcy, and that’s the major finding in our study.”

Small government for one of the the hugest countries the world has ever known. That doesn’t even make sense to an elementary student, exo! Yeah, I gave you an exclamation point! There’s another!. Dude, slow down. What are the fire and police forces for, if not our health.. Think it through dude. The government, ( and by that I mean all of us, even you) should be responsible for our health. Why even have a government if it doesn’t help you? Get real…..

Canada is our most loyal friend it the world. Nobody has a better neighbor. They are better than the British….they are English AND French. We get the best of both worlds.. And I’ll leave you tonight with this thought. A lot of Canadians are French chicks……Yeah, I know……

One day this week I heard Congress described as a bunch of tribes who no longer even know each other or make any effort to make friends with each other – not just Dems vs Reps but all the little factions within both parties also refuse to get along. It’s pretty pathetic.
