I mean, they’re smart enough to catch on to a pattern. There’s a reason our old family dog used to beg from my mother but not so much from everyone else in the house at the time.

Weekend, I will usually make myself breakfast, and I have to sit ther and eat with 3 little noses pointed at m….y bacon. I always save a bite for each, and they have to be sitting down, “butts on the ground”, to get it. I get a real …disappointed look from them if I fix bacon to go in something else and don’t have any for the girls.

One time is enough to make it a pattern. If that’s followed by 7 days of nothing, then it’s now a constant source of disappointment.
