    Ever smoke?

    Not while I’m sleeping.

Seriously: I quit a few weeks ago (New Year’s). Obviously it was more of a bad habit than an addiction since I don’t show any signs of withdrawal.

So why say she doesn’t hide the cigarettes and then suggest that she does?

Back in the 70’s I smoked, but it wasn’t tobacco.

Of course I smoked, just like every other stupid kid! I didn’t smoke that much, and quit within 10 years. It wasn’t a problem quitting, because I always had Copenhagen snuff to call back on. I ‘dipped’ Copenhagen for almost 20 years, but quit cold turkey one day.

I’m 2-1/2 years into recovery from throat cancer, and I’m cancer-free! It was probably the Copenhagen that got me.

No. Saw what it did to my Dad (he died at 58 from his bad heart, smoking didn’t help). And I’ve worked in an ENT office since 1984. If seeing all the head and neck cancers won’t keep you from smoking, nothing will.
