Buenos Dias Locos! I could not turn on the computer this morning. It was like it had frozen up. I tried everything and before resorting to the manual I decided to turn off the surge protector and then turn it back on and that got everything going. I thought I was going to go through gocomics withdrawal all over again.
cleo I’m lucky in that I can switch between screens, and most times do a little of both. Mainly, I can keep up on my emails from you all and the comments here. Not so much comics readings though.
JFri care to answer my other question? cleo pays as much attention to me as you do! Yes, cleo I have told you before, I am on high ground. :-P My street will probably flood because there is only one drain on the street, the street runs downhill and in a heavy rain most of the runoff misses the drain! I am wondering what will happen with the chimney in the laundry room though.
Watch out JFri, Dry is getting testy! I seem to recall your lack of worry about flooding, but just wanted to convey my concern. After all, your house may be on wheels and could have been relocated due to unpaid rent and the desire to escape a particularly demanding landlord. Isn’t that why mobile homes were created?
Actually I already have a black eye from my trip up the coast. I was getting items out of my car and had the door swing back and hit me just above my right eyebrow. Surprisingly, it blackened, or at least reddened my eye above the upper lid.
Dry will you be driving west in your house? If so, it should save you money on nightly rentals on your march westward. I have put out a FHIG warning. My neighbors, knowing your rep, are keeping a keen outlook for a split level mobile home with cracked mortar and a steamy Italian chick.
Yeah, I forgot that part! But I can reach cleo! And then he’ll be mad at you for getting him in this mess! Oh, did I mention I carry a portable ladder? I could reach you then!
Well Lucy I am enjoying the mental image of you trying to hit JFri in the eyes or nose. However, you could hit mine so I have established check points around my house and have trained attack birds to so thoroughly cover your windows with bird poop, that your mobile brick and mortar abode should be mired in excrement miles from my address.
And don’t get me started on what the squirrels are capable of. I have had six on site today and they take pleasure in chewing through wires and should leave you at roadside calling AAA with no hope of accomplishing your dastardly mission.
Ah cleo! Sorry to burst your bubble! Didn’t I ever tell you, among my many talents, well you have heard of the Horse Whisperer, correct? I am the Bird and Squirrel Whisperer. Didn’t know that, did you?
Well I did know that you were for the birds and a bit squirrelly. You can call it what you like, but I have no fear as I have a convocation of eagles also scanning the terrain.
really45 post? im so tired i cant even think to read them all. so we were supposed to have some bad weather last night. it seems to have missed us big time. so im alive and fine
We had chicken pot pie and it was very good. LilG likes to take ingredients from previous dinners and put them together into a dinner and it always proves delicious.

Doesn’t the mortar crack when driving over bumpy roads?
The Duke 1 over 13 years ago
You make an excellent point, cleo! It’s a good thing they don’t have a lot of tornadoes in PA, what with mobile homes being tornado magnets and all….
Dry and Dusty Premium Member over 13 years ago
Oh you two are begging for it! Have plenty of ice on hand? You’ll need it for your black eyes and bloody noses! :-P

JFri, you might want to take similar precautions. There is a FHIG on the loose. Somehow, Lucille Ball and “The Long, Long Trailer” come to mind.
