Illinois doesn’t either; I have a beloved 1994 Dodge Caravan, which has finally started to show her 26 years…sliding door won’t close completely, so it’s permanently closed now. And, the driver’s door window mechanism gave it up two weeks ago, thankfully, when it was up, so it’s taped shut. But she always starts, runs like a top and has only 126G on her, being the second vehicle, so, we’ll keep aging together!
I think a ‘Classic’ plate is more inline for the car pictured. But I love the AARP for cars line. Guess that would be the car’s membership card so to speak.
One of my bros got his beloved 1955 Chevy Bel-Air in the mid-70s when PA used a small Liberty Bell as a separator between the numbers & letters. His license plate number is 55 AIR. LOL!
First thing I’m gonna do when I perfect my time machine is go back and by about a dozen ’65 slant six Darts, move a few years later to get a GTX and a Road Runner, and then build a cryogenic version of a garage.
would never happen in japan – the car inspection scheme (scam) that’s mandated by law ensures that it’s too expensive to keep driving the same car after a certain number of years…

You’re a plugger when the front of your car has old blood stains on it.
