Reminds me of a “Night Gallery” about a man’s fear of spiders gets larger and LARGER.

Must be a juvenile from Beta Lyra, their solar system of Vega. They look like earthly spiders, but are much larger and they are more like mammals than arachnids. They are intelligent and don’t eat other intelligent beings. They are behind most animal mutilations. And sightings of oversized spiders from S. America to the USA to Africa. They are coldly logical beings.
