Charlie Brown rushes along saying,"I've been waiting all year to pull this joke on Patty"<BR><BR> He walks up behind Patty, who is sitting on the floor reading. He points to her back and exclaims,"Hey, Patty! There's a spider on your back!!!" She drops her book and shouts,"Brush it off!!! Quick!!"<BR><BR> He falls on the floor laughing and shouting,"April Fool! Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ho, Ho, Ho! What a joke!! Ho, Ho, Ho!" She looks down at him and replies,"April Fool's day was yesterday!!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands glowering to the reader.<BR><BR>

Poor Schulz couldn’t do an April Fool’s cartoon on April 1 because in 1951 April 1 fell on a Sunday, and Peanuts wasn’t allowed a Sunday strip yet.

Given all the tricks Charlie Brown plays on Patty, it is obvious that he likes her.
