Malta has had three sieges , one by the Ottoman Turks , another by the Axis powers of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy and won , now we are having one by a cartoon looking virus , hope we will win this time too.

Pubs will soon be closed due to the virus! He will be disappointed!

We’ve just come across a Catch 22 situation due to the virus lockdown. Because the buses aren’t running, cars and taxies are allowed to run only on alternating days according to their license plates ending in an odd or even number, nightly curfews (9 pm – 5 am) and people urged to self-isolate, the local hospital has a big problem … The hospital cafeteria and kitchen is closed because the workers haven’t shown up for work this morning! The doctors and nurses are all standing outside protesting at this very moment.

Fortunately, the grandson is at a private children’s clinic in another city. If all goes well, they’ll remove the drain from his head, today.

A little humor during this whole ordeal is what we need right now.

It seems you can’t have fun ANYWHERE these days, thanks to that stupid coronavirus. >:( The sooner this pandemic is over, the better. I don’t care what it takes. If spraying the whole world with bleach is the only way to put a stop to it, then so be it!
