Hate to get all mathy, but I don’t think enough info was given for Chris’ statement to always be true. What if we’re rounding to hundredths, then the rounding error is a max of .005. What about that genius?
In junior high, difference between our valedictorian and runner up (neither one me) was that #2 got one “B” in gym class one term. Shorts weren’t pressed perfectly.
In all reality P 4 Alexa let’s blow off Finals who cares about grades let’s let who ever is ranked # 3 become the valedictorian . Everybody knows we’re smarter than anyone at this school especially the faculty .
The tournament is just about ready to start. I’m using Wordpress for the tournament page, and the tools and setup is so darn convoluted that it was killing me. All I wanted was a similar setup to the MUT page, where I can “blog” updates to the tournament, post new screenshots and they would just go above each other. For the life of me I can’t duplicate that page setup. Oh well, I got something simple that I’ll just edit each time.
Question is, how should we do the voting? I don’t really want to have people posting votes here, making it complicating all the comments we already have. Either I could post an email address on the tournament page for people to email their votes. Or maybe a simple poll using one of the things available online.
My thought is we do maybe one region a day or two for the first round? Anyway, here is the setup for now:

I did some rough seeding of the contestants, but in no means analyzed everyone. Good enough. Do not start voting yet.
Man, Chris has been the most perfect, understanding, compassionate, never does anything wrong person we’ve ever seen. Yet half the school despises him. One thing I’m wondering about – Chris proposed this co-valedictorian thing at least a month ago. And Alexa has been stopping in the counselor’s office multiple times to triple-check on her GPA, scholarship forms, etc. And yet the counselor lady never mentioned a word of it to her until now? What has she been doing all this time? Has she caught the Thorp work ethic?
And speaking of ethics, there usually aren’t many to be found in Mopped Up Thorp. And today is no exception.

No, but cue the orchestra with ‘Love is a Many Splendored Thing.’ (maybe ‘thang’, if we’re in the Deep South.)

P1: Yoga pants, because there are no cuffs, going into…high heels? They look like high heels. Must be part of Alexa’s plan to intimidate everyone.
