Schroeder: We can't decide what color to paint Snoopy's house... Patty: What do you think, Charlie Brown...Should we use red or yellow? Charlie Brown: Well...I'm very flattered that you have asked for my opinion,, I think the color should be red Patty: That settles it...We'll paint it yellow!

Patty is such a cidrule. I’m so glad Charles Schulz deleted her from the strip.

Boy, is Charlie Brown’s face red!

Charlie is apparently too genre blind to wise up by just simply not answering any of their questions.

Patty faded into the background a little, especially as Lucy took over, but she was still a member of the cast. And I think Snoopy’s dog house was usually shown as being red.

As a child I had a piggybank shaped like Snoopy’s kennel with Snoopy on top. It was white with a red roof. One day some burglars broke in and smashed it :(

Charlie “Brown” should make it brown!

The colour Sunday strips (which came later) and full colour reissues of the strip made after Schulz’s retirement generally seem to show Snoopy’s doghouse as red, although it seems that it’s also been done in yellow on occasion. There’s a similar inconsistency with respect to the colour of Charlie Brown’s shirt, which seems like it should be more canonically be yellow, although it is just as often shown, in the coloured versions of the comics anyhow, as being red or orange.
