He watches her pouring dirt into boxes and asks, "What in the world are you doing?"<BR><BR> As he stands next to her, she replies, "I'm in business.."<BR><BR> He stoops down and says, "Putting dirt in boxes?" She says, "Huh!!! There's more to it than that..."<BR><BR> They stand and she explains, "These are Ready-Mix mud pies!"<BR><BR>

Gotta love Violet the entrepreneur. And this strip is likely a reflection of the instant and convenience foods that were first coming into their own around this time.
