I heard that boat ramps in some FL counties are closed for the duration. All those idiots wanting to get out on the water and party, or go to some island and party, ruined it for everyone.
How did he get out there?=====My great-grandfather owned a saloon in Cicero.
He and his wife had a summer place in {i think} Michigan City Indiana.
My dad said that on hot days, his grandfather would head out into the lake with a quart of beer that he hung in the water to keep cool, a salt-shaker and a bag of tomatos to fish all day.
Dad said he asked his grandfather about that. “Grandpa,” he said, “you don’t even like fishing. Why do you do it so often?”
His grandfather explained that they only owned one boat and that his grandmother had a long list of things that needed doing around the place…

The fish are just maintaining “social distance” from his gear, could be another reason.

The trout streams in Central Pa are shoulder to shoulder today. Everyone sent to work at home seems to be streamside.

Hmmm. I don’t see oars, a paddle or an outboard.
