My German Shepherds got showers with me, one at a time. There was no chaos, just a lot of maneuvering with them trying to keep me between them and the water. Oh, but let me pull out the hose in the back yard and suddenly everyone is all in to water biting and mud rolling. Sheesh.
“Chaos” is actually of Greek origin, not Latin, and obviously does not mean anything even remotely pertaining to “having a good time” (quite the opposite, in fact) ;)

It would be much worse if he was planning to give the cats a bath

Can’t say I am “having a good time” when trying to give a little shih-tsu mix a bath. It is definitely chaos.

I can understand why that’d chaos if he’s giving both dogs a bath at the same time.
