Beer commercials? Good to know what Calvin’s goal in life is.

Don’t get him started on football. Those super bowl commercials always showing Doritos.

I wonder how good Susie is at baseball.

20 lbs underweight? This strip is showing its age.

I expect Calvin is on the side of “Tastes Great!”

Hey Calvin, they have people who don’t play sports on beer commercials too. Normal people, or so I’ve been told.

Susie’s also missing the issue of balancing on shoes that are both dangerous and crippling. And paying 150% of the price a guy pays for shoes and clothing for usually 70% of the value… and no pockets.

And lets not even start on the unlucky ones who have genetically induced backache organs.

Odds are 10:1 that Susie would make a better athlete than Calvin.

Is that Calvin breaking the fourth wall? (Third wall, actually, because this is in two dimensions)

I’m with Calvin. I’m not a dog; I don’t chase balls… (Ain’t even gonna try to lick them, either…)

That shouldn’t bother you for another few years. But I might worry you ’ll grow up playing with dolls, girly boy.

I count not making beer commercials as a plus!

There is a double standard. Girls can play sports. I suppose you could put your son in a ballet class and see how that goes. A girl can wear jeans and a T- shirt, but put a boy in a frilly blouse and skirt and people will notice.

Girls can do anything boys can do; but boys can’t do everything girls do.

You know, I sympathize with all of this. Way to go Boomer.

NO BEER COMMERCIALS OH NO

20 pounds underweight, 20 years younger (well, not Susie, obviously), no wrinkles, perfect makeup and hair and the most stylish clothes. Women are ALWAYS being judged for their appearance rather than their intellect or talent. (At least, more LIKELY to be judged that way!) – Calvin, it’s MUCH easier to be a guy.

I didn’t realize Suzy was French.

Now there’s a career goal.

Considering that they probably are afflicted with coronavirus, that sounds like a good thing.

Mickey Spillane got to make a beer commercial.

Budweiser used frogs, horses, and dogs.

40% of Americans are obese. 40% of Americans support our obese president. Coincidence? (all figures well-rounded)

At what point did C&H just become Calvin complaining about things? School, sports, food, parents… anything. When was the last time he had any fun?

Since when did he want to do beer comercials

And so it goes.

Since when?

Good ol’ Watterson was really ahead of his time with the gender stereotypes and the harm they caused huh?

C’mon Calvin, be a sport!

That’s because of European woman-hating fashion designers. In general, American men don’t look for the Twiggy \ Kate Moss type.

I confess, Susie’s perfectly spherical head has always been a total turn-on for me.
