Next time Broomie, you should go to work for a REALLY oldies station!
One of my favorite pass-times on the internet, listening to music that was old before I was born.
I lived in the times of gramophones…it was wonderful….while the whole family sang songs and harmonized… during the depression, WWII…..best memories ever! When families were families!
And a voh-dee-oh-doh to everyone this morning!
That was her last jig.. 100 years ago? Thank goodness for a generous unemployment program.
How on Earth did you extrapolate that from this cartoon?
My taste is much older than I am. I grew up with the Beatles and Elvis, but I prefer Big Band music and Nat King Cole.
Well the new generations just aren’t in to Al Jolson.
100 years is a drop in the bucket for someone 1,500 years old.
Not enough super-retro fans, I guess….
