In less than 14 years, Apollo 10 will go to the Moon. The Lunar Module will be Snoopy. The Command/Service-Module will be Charlie Brown. Unfortunately, Apollo 10 will be a dress-rehearsal; so, Snoopy never landed on the Moon.
The crew of Apollo 10 launched Snoopy into Solar Orbit. Perhaps, someday, we shall recover Snoopy. In the mean-time, Snoopy orbits the Sun.
