Anyone who has (ie owned by) a cat knows you can’t move a cat, it is too cute, comfortable, etc. where it is.

That looks like the beginning of what I call the ‘making the bed game’.

Plus, kitty cat is the real boss of the house. She’ll move when she wants to move.

And you feed her? Clean her litter box? Clear decision.

I wish GoComics would bring back the “zoom” feature on their comics so that I wouldn’t have to strain my eyes trying to read Amanda’s “small print”.

And yes, I know about Ctrl-Alt-+. But it’s a real pain.

Yes, it is the unspoken law, let sleeping cats lie. And a cat on the the lap is an excuse for your significant other to do things for you so as not to disturb the cat.

Cats are here to amuse, confuse, entertain, aggitate at times, but mostly to comfort. They know when you are ailing and need a purring cat to cuddle.
