Before I retired, I worked with a guy who was a real audiophile and would listen to music until early in the morning. When he came to work, he was dog tired and would actually fall asleep on an open file cabinet drawer as he stood beside the drawer. Since he was close to retirement, everyone would simply walk around him until he awoke. Gentler times. . .
Working from home, I do miss my adjustable desk – push-button control to adjust the entire desk anywhere from a low sitting height to an adequate standing height. Then again, I also miss my office’s level floors – my apartment is old, and the floor has enough pitch that occasionally I roll into the wall whilst at the computer.
When I took drafting at Vo-tech, I was also working nights. I made sure my drafting board was one I had to use standing up. I would nod off, but would wake up before I slumped down to the floor.

Oy! And of course as soon as he drifted off, who should walk by but his BOSS!

After eating a high carbohydrate lunch, sleeping at work standing up was pretty easy.

Falling asleep in that position makes it very convenient for the boss to kick his keester!
