Here in Buena Vista, Virginia the say Bew ni Vista (as in few, and the is like in miss). I was corrected the very first day I came to this town. I said Buena Vista like you would in Spanish. A guy with a lazy southern drawl said, “You ain’t from around here, are ya?”
