Awful dark for daytime. Must be a special time out room in the cellar.

It is a “How would you like it if someone ……” lesson in empathy. Good Mama.

If Alice’s eyes don’t pop out of her head from that, they never will.

I sure miss R.T. He was the only writer since Douglas Adams who could reliably make me laugh audibly.

Lesson learned: Now knowing that there’s pain involved, you’ll garner much more joy in being grabby. You’ll grow up to be a fine ex-wife.

I know this will earn me reprimands, but when my son was very little he took it into his head to start biting me when displeased. The first time I said, “NO!” The second time I bit him back — not enough to harm, just enough to share the experience with him; he was startled. The third time I bit back again and I could see him turning it over in his mind. He never did it again.

Now we could use some Thwarted Grabbiness by those who are still hoarding TP and food at the markets! :>)

It’s great, how Beni becomes the Omniscient and exceedingly articulate Narrator when prompted by the Scream and Dill’s question.

I think Madeline has taught Alice a lesson she will not forget….

My mom broke my oldest sister when she was very young of throwing fits in stores by throwing a fit in the middle of the floor of a nice department store dressed in a ladies suit with heels and hose. My sister saw that and was scared to death. She never threw another fit in a store again.
