The church we attended when I was a kid had a very wealthy pastor. He had padded seating put on the first six rows of pews.

That is a perfect example of how we Lutherans supposedly are we fill the pew(or seats in my church) back to front.

Front row center for me. I have problems with my vision and if I sit behind someone and have to look past them, I get double vision and a huge headache. Besides it gives me a chance to harass the associate pastor who is a really good sport.

My friend sent me a text with a picture of them attending worship at their church this morning…they got front row seating, er, parking, at the drive-in service. ;-)

Not this year. We are, for the most part, hermits, with technological connections

I have no respect for those who would go to large gatherings assuming the God of their choice would protect them but ignoring that they might contaminate countless others. False pride, arrogance, foolishness, and ignoring the welfare of others goes against virtually every religion I know.

Pluggers wait pointlessly for hours, memorizing pamphlets and staring into space. Zombies!
