Oh, Rip’s fists . . .

Breezy should be more than enough incentive to stay.

Is that only Rip talking in the third panel? If not, then who has what lines?

If it is, then Breezy, grab your daughter and run to the nearest divorce lawyer in Starlight.

Ditch this clown, and find someone who will be happy to pay attention to you and your child.

Even though you, Rip, Baby Fireball and TNT could team up in a Winebago and travel the country having wonderful adventures, apparently Rip is an incorrigible loner and simply cannot bear to share the spotlight, even with his wife, daughter and sidekick.

Unless you can deal with marital consortium only once every two or three years, you’ve hitched your wagon to the wrong partner.

By the way, where is Squirrely? Should not she too be concerned about Rip?

Did she bump into Breezy a few minutes before today’s strip began?

Why could not we see that encounter?

Or has Squirrely already passed through the new event horizon outside of Blood Curdling Pass?

And another thought:

How has Breezy managed to put food on the table while Rip has been gallivanting about?

I originally thought this was an overnight adventure, but then Dicey blabbed that it started long ago.

Rip is all of our ideals as a hero, but exactly of what use has he been to his wife and child?

Next week, Rip becomes friends with Nancy and Sluggo and is never seen again. That’s the comic everyone’s been waiting for.

Sorry, Rip. You do not wear sarcasm very well.
