I would be so LIVID! First John invites Fiona without telling Elly. And now, instead of asking her to leave, he rents her an apartment -without Elly’s knowledge again! What is WRONG with this man???

Just throw her out would have been better.

$1000? You could have bought pepper spray and a taser for less than half of that.

Lynn’s Comments:

I had the opportunity to put in a name that wouldn’t be linked to a featured character in the strip. Cecily Beard is a dear friend and at the time we had lost touch. By putting her name in the strip, I was able to connect with her after almost 30 years. We met at the airport, arms around each other, crying and laughing and saying "you haven’t changed at all!"

Basically it’s costing him $1000 because he’s a wimp and will not set boundaries for Fiona.

John has a point.

Tell her to pack her shit and get out. Enough already! Grow a pair.

This reminds of some celebrity’s quote about divorce: “The reason it cost so much is ,because it’s worth it.. And to be honest I believe this situation warrants the same feeling. :^)

why not buy her a bus ticket instead?

Fiona has a destructive cat. First & last, got it, but how about a security deposit? Background & credit check? Drug test? John’s getting off easy at just a grand.

2 more days before we see Fiona’s backside. Tomorrow we see an explanation of sorts as to why they couldn’t just throw her out.

And the therapy could put you in debt. So, same end result.

So many of you are down on John and saying “why didn’t he throw her out?” Y’all are forgetting, THEY’RE CANADIAN! And if you don’t understand what that means then you need to download and watch Canadian Bacon and/or the episode on That 70’s Show where the guys go to Canada for beer.

On a scale of 1 to 10, just how stupid do you think this couple is? 10 being the highest, I give them….10+.

Mistakes are costly – John just paid dearly for this one.

Ahhh the good old days when people avoided going into debt but thought of creative ways to solve issues affecting a whole family not just a single character. I love Lynn’s family depictions…they’re real and humorous because they are so real. Thanks for letting us visit with them Lynn!
