Linus approaches Charlie Brown on the field with his blanket. He says, "Look Charlie Brown..you've got to help me break this blanket habit.."<br> <br> Linus gives the blanket to Charlie Brown and exclaims, "You hang onto it for me, but DON'T give it to me even if I BEG you for it! No matter what I tell you, DON'T GIVE IT BACK TO ME!!"<br> <br> Linus reaches for his blanket saying, "I think I've changed my mind..I want it.." Charlie Brown gives him the blanket saying, "All right, here.."<br> <br> Linus beats his hands on the ground screaming, "NO NO NO NO" Charlie Brown walks away sighing.<br> <br>

If Linus was serious about this, he would have asked Lucy, not Charles. She wouldn’t give it back to him, and he knows that.

Sometime in the future he asks Snoopy to do the same thing, and that’s what does it.
