Pluggers have clothing items that weren’t made in America, and seem to believe they’re the only Americans that can make that claim.

Sad but true that we do not produce more of our own items …

A few years back, in Alaska; signs in stores said to buy American goods ……. but there weren’t any.

No more made in China for me.

I remember ads from Walmart touting American made. Those went away quickly.

Pluggers try to buy American.. but go for the bargain when they see it.

Not buying Chinese products, much easier said than done, even for the most well-intentioned and diligent of us. There was a time when the majority of small-town America had some sort of garment or shoe factory. Unfortunately, those days are over and they ain’t comin’ back in our lifetime, no matter what any politician/liar promises.

China has us by the…….My experience recently: I got two quotes for printed circuit board prototypes to be made in the USA. Three pieces would cost me over $300. China quoted me less than $20 for FIVE pieces, yes, less than twenty dollars included shipping. They delivered in four days versus three weeks stateside. Oh, The China supplier wanted complete schematics!They didn’t need that…….

Actually My Clothes have been Everywhere I have been ! :-) ( Well with a few exceptions when I wasn’t wearing any, France-Mediterranean-Virgin Islands and a few others. :-} )

Pluggers remember the commercials that told us to “Look for the Union Label” to support US workers.
