Maybe they just mistook him for a snack? I swear he looks just like a crouton.

One of the few times sitting by the window doesn’t pay off.

I know Seagulls aren’t fussy, but showing that much interest in a lukewarm bowl of ranch dressing?

I remember seeing clouds of gulls swarming the sterns of lobster boats coming in. They would go after whatever the boats discarded

I used to have a place to stay on Lake Huron northern MI. One thing about northern MI is it’s a great place to get smoked fish. I happen to like smoked trout so one evening I was finishing up a piece of it and noticed seagulls were making their way into roost so I placed the end pieces, skin, tail and spine on the rocks went back to my chair and waited. It didn’t take long for a gull to catch whiff and fly down to gobble up a late day snack. All that was left was the spine. Early in the morning when I went out to check even the spine had been gobbled up by someone, maybe a skunk or porcupine or raccoon? Anyway it was totally gone.

99 gulls at the window today. 99 seagulls today. One flies away, so what do we say. 98 gulls at the window today.

Seagulls can spot an open bag of Doritos from six miles away.
