"Charlie Brown and Linus are in the yard building birdhouses. Linus ask Charlie brown, “Do you think the birds appreciate these houses we make, Charlie Brown? “ Charlie Brown replies, ”I can’t say, although I like to think that they do..” <br> <br> Linus is putting two boards together, getting ready to nail them as he says to Charlie Brown, “We need some smoother boards… A few of these pieces are pretty rough…” <br> <br> “AAUGH!” says Linus holding up his finger as Charlie Brown looks over at him questioningly. <br> <br> Both have stood up and Linus is yelling, “A SLIVER1 a sliver! I got a sliver in my finger!!!” <br> <br> Charlie Brown walks over to Linus who is holding his finger and says to him, “you’d better go home, and have your mother take it out…” Linus crying says, “IT’LL HURT! IT’LL HURT! SHE’LL STICK ME WITH A NEEDLE!! IT’LL HURT!!” <br> <br> Charlie Brown looks at Linus with his arms out and says, ” Of course, It’ll hurt, but you don’t want it to get INFECTED, do you?” Linus looks down at his finger. <br> <br> Linus looks down at his finger as he says, “I can’t stand pain, Charlie Brown!” <br> <br> Linus turns and faces Charlie Brown who is telling him, “Look, Do what I do… While your mother is trying to get the sliver out, you pretend you’re being tortured by pirates who want you to tell them where the gold is buried” <br> <br> Charlie Brown goes on say to Linus, ”See how brave you can be…”<br> <br> Charlie Brown watches Linus leave. <br> <br> Charlie Brown is standing waiting for Linus. <br> <br> AUGH Charlie Brown is startled from the yell. <br> <br> Linus comes walking back towards Charlie Brown with a smirk on his face as he says, “I told them where the Gold was buried! <br> <br>" dialogue-text,"Charlie Brown and Linus are in the yard building birdhouses. Try tape to get out little slivers. Either it will stick to the tape and come out, or you can leave the tape on for a day to keep it from getting irritated, and by the next day it will probably stick to it and come out.

White Glue, the kinda stuff you would use in school, also works really well. Just pour a dime sized amount over the sliver and let it dry, and pull it off. It’s worked for me nine times out of ten.

That is me. When the pirates need gold they stick a sliver in my finger and I tell them where all the gold is.
