Lucy and Linus are standing in an open field. Lucy turns to Linus and says, "Now remember...what you are about to see is an authentic 'Failure Face'!"<br> <br> They both turn to face Charlie Brown. Lucy says, "They're very rare and you should learn to recognize one when you see it..."<br> <br> She asks, "Notice how 'Failure' is written all over it? Notice how the years have etched 'Failure' into every line? Notce how... <br> <br> Charlie Brown turns to them and yells, "GET OUT OF HERE!!" Linus and Lucy both visibly fall over with the force of Charlie Brown's yell. <br> <br>

This sequence may have worked a few years earlier, but here it’s hard to figure. Linus had already been established as a friend, but here he makes like he hasn’t seen CB before and is taking Lucy’s every word as gospel.
