Lucy asks, "What are you going to get me for Beethoven's Birthday, Charlie Brown?<BR><BR> Charlie Brown raises his hands and shouts, "I'm not going to get you ANYTHING! I wouldn't get you something for Beethoven's birthday if you were the last girl on earth!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown walks away from Lucy.<BR><BR> Lucy yells after him, "WHAT HAVE YOU GOT AGAINST BEETHOVEN?"<BR><BR>

Not to mention the fact that she seems to hate Beethoven,anyway;after all, there’s that strip that was published 14 years later, on Sunday,12/15/1974(the day before Beethoven’s bday)where she asks of Schroeder what he’s going to get her, and he says,“Nothing! And you know why? Because you don’t care anything about Beethoven! You never have!” It’s true;don’t forget,in the Xmas special,she even says,and I quote,“Everyone talks about how Beethoven was. Beethoven wasn’t so great!” and “just because he never got his picture on bubble gum cards.”
