All traffic jams are caused by tailgating … there is plenty of room on the road, but you have to let people change lanes and merge WITHOUT having to pump the brakes.
It’s not a race. You get no prize for being “first.” Drive politely, and there will be no traffic jams, ever.
How would it improve the commute? You’re ants; you move single-file, always at the same speed. Your commute would take the same amount of time, and look exqctly the same!
