Linus rolls a giant snowball in the snow as Snoopy watches.<BR><BR> Linus leans against the snowball to rest.<BR><BR> Snoopy watches as Linus starts to roll another giant snowball.<BR><BR> Linus continues rolling. The snowball gets bigger and bigger.<BR><BR> Linus hoists the snowball onto his shoulder.<BR><BR> Linus finally completes his snowman.<BR><BR> Linus Leans against the snowman and says, "Boy, you're lucky you're a dog, Snoopy, and don't have to do this sort of thing!"<BR><BR> Snoopy walks and thinks, "I guess maybe he's right . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on his doghouse and thinks, "Although it never occurred to me that it was compulsory!"<BR><BR>

There are a couple of earlier and later strips where Snoopy “speaks” like this. They are rare, but they are there.
