@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny and a variation of a theme our HERO Mr Andrew Capp saying that Flo is cynical about Andy bumming beer from his “pal” Chalkie , when it was Nosher that ran out of money is priceless :o) my avatar is a photo of our cat Cindy snoozing a couple of months before she crossed the rainbow bridge and went to kitty heaven, I am not ashamed to say that I cried when she died and phoned my eldest son Arthur to come over and we buried her in our back garden, sorry if I was morbid , how was your day? and welcome back , our Finally Friday was hectic yesterday , today should be busy but calm I hope and now Alex has shown me how to use messenger so I can keep in touch with friends and family, when God willing this @#$%# pandemic ends we shall walk and drive all over the island
You are not morbid and there is no shame in crying. For the first couple of years of my life, my Mum had a Doberman and she lived to be 11 years old. Sadly, I was too young to remember but my Mum has photos.
It sounds silly but I don’t ever want a dog of my own because I don’t want to face the heartbreak of having to get them put to sleep.

Today’s strip reinforces an old adage, A wise man has many resources. And somehow Andy lucked out, at least for a pint or two.

Font is fine. Easy to read. Learn to adapt people.

Font: It’s not just the font style. The caption bubbles have no individual style either! Too “computerish!” Bring back old style.

I didn’t think he was on speaking terms with Nosher. Then again, he doesn’t have to speak, he just has to pay.

I’m not sure I really like the new font, but nothing is permanent except change, so…
