Apparently Mildred’s parents are back from wherever they went when they left her with Sonny’s family. I wonder whether they’ve noticed any changes in her behavior. Unicorns!!!

Neil’s rather like my dad then—he’s pulled something similar on me a few times while growing up. You usually learned to get the hint pretty quick.
