Lottie, always one step ahead of Linton. But being second isn’t bad, especially if the first one is an absolute genius. I wonder if Mildred winked at one of them in particular.

And it also figures that Lottie was the one who put that book in a jumble sale to begin with.

Also, I have to agree with Linton—that was a pretty decent jumble sale.

Is Mildred winking at Jack? They’re the only two who aren’t saying anything (aloud!).
