Charlie Brown walks outside and kicks a can.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "I hate it when the baseball season is over."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown continues, "There's a dreariness in the air that depresses me . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands on the pitchers mound and says, "Everything seems sad . . . Even the ol' pitcher's mound is covered with weeds . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown lies against the mound and says, "I guess all a person can do is dream his dreams . . . Maybe I'll be a good ball player someday . . . Maybe I'll even play in the world series, and be a hero . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy walks up curiously as Charlie Brown says, "I bet I will play in the Wolrd Series someday . . . I bet I'll"<BR><BR> Lucy points and shouts, "Hey! Look who's talking to himself!"<BR><BR> Lucy stands over Charlie Brown and says, "What are you doing, Charlie Brown, thinking about all the times you struck out?!"<BR><BR>

Reading this strip while listening to Kansas’s “Dust in the Wind” on my ITunes is just perfect, at least until Lucy shows up:(
