"Charlie Brown is standing in the yard holding a croquet mallet, as his ball is hit my another he says, “ OH NO!” <br> <br> Lucy is standing holding her mallet up saying, “ I hit him! I hit Him!” <br> <br> Lucy is running past Linus and Patty with her mallet up in the air saying, “HA! I hit Charlie Brown’s ball! I get to knock him away!” <br> <br> Lucy puts he foot on her ball and gets ready to swing as Charlie Brown watches with exclamation. <br> <br> Lucy takes a big swing and POW! The ball goes flying, as Charlie Brown watches and says “Good Grief”!” <br> <br> Charlie Brown goes running with mallet in hand in search of his ball. <br> <br> Charlie Brown is now walking past a tree. <br> <br> Charlie Brown puts his mallet over his shoulder as he strolls past a fence. <br> <br> Charlie Brown is now dragging his mallet along as he continues to walk. <br> <br> Charlie Brown finds his ball and walks towards it. <br> <br> Charlie Brown turns and looks back with his hand on his chin. <br> <br> Charlie Brown is standing in a phone booth with his ball just outside as he talks on the phone, “Yes… Call me when it’s my turn, Will you? Schulz used the phone number of a real-life friend of his, who immediately began getting calls the moment people started reading the paper that day. Fortunately his friend was understanding & forgiving, although I believe he eventually had to change his number because of the sheer amount of phone calls he was getting.
