Mama’s solution: “If you can’t find something quiet to keep yourselves busy for the next hour, I will FIND something for you. Understood?”
Nearly identical to the answer to “I’m bored.” Mama was a great believer in going with what works.
At the times we are living now, I’m so glad I don’t have kids.
It probably isn’t a good idea to leave such young children to their own devices, anyway.
Those two are just like my house cats. They refused to be ignored!
