Was using curbside pickup until Wal-Mart decided to cancel my grocery order after traveling 75 miles and waiting more than an hour after my appointment time. Had to go back and get mask, gloves, googles, sterilized dew rag, and wore black garbage bags with appropriate arm and head cutouts. I normally try to push a cart even though I have knee problems but I was lucky enough to find an Amigo electric cart just before the store closed. I was able to keep most other shoppers away from me by my appearance and horn beeping on the rumbling menacing cart. After going through self checkout I stripped down to my underwear and shoes in the parking lot, which kept other shoppers from parking next to me and sealed everything inside garbage bags. Yes, this story is true, and I was over the top, but I suffer from PTSD, Putrid Trump Stress Disorder, where I see and fear the scores of MAGAts crawling in the store socializing without regard.
Went to the Kroger near me yesterday. Seems like people’s priorities have changed…LOTS of Toilet Paper on the shelves, but almost NO Chef Boy-Ar-Dee Pasta! Go figure… it’s very random what the stores are out of, and what they have plenty of in stock now… weird…
And yes, they WERE limiting the number of people in the store at one time, but it wasn’t really an issue…
Stay home. #2 When practical use delivery or drive up pick up. #3 Shop at stores that are clean and think of you by providing cart wipes, hand sanitizer, and that will limit the number of customers at one time. #4 Treat everybody politely and keep at least a shopping cart distance between each other. #5 Do not shop with others – no kids, friends, parents, your PTA or lodge members. Keep the number of people as low as you can. And #6 Assume (or just pretend) you already have it and try to to spread it. If you wear gloves and don’t change them after you touch your face, ears, eyes, hair, etc, you’re contaminating EVERYTHING you touch. Gloves are NOT a substitute for hand washing and hand sanitizing. And masks? The vast majority of people who wear masks aren’t even fitting them correctly, are touching them all the time, wear them too long, and take them off or move them away from their face all the time (once is too much!). Any of that totally defeats the purpose of the masks and raises the chance that you’ll get the virus or merely pass it along to your friends, children, elderly parents, etc. Just stay home!
After Walmart has succeeded in driving all the competition out of business in a given area, they can afford to be as expensive, arrogant, arbitrary, and unhelpful as they want. Whaddya gonna do about it?

The U.S. will come through this now that the enemy “leading” the U.S. has been shown as the psychopathic narcissistic xenophobe he has always been.

I hate the war analogy! Is there not something better we can use? It just winds up the crazy man in the Whitehouse.

Maybe the war analogy caught on earlier than I thought: I mean, weren’t all those college kids in Florida storming the beaches?
