Quick, horse! Run over to the vet and make sure you didn’t catch anything from Broomie!

I just learned from QI that horses are responsible for the death of more people in Australia than any other animal. (Humans don’t count)

I bet she’s now soured on pickles….

I admit I was a bit surprised when I saw a video of a cow eating a chicken.

If not for the treat, the taste would’ve been bitter.

Of course, of course.

Never gift a horse in the mouth.

Horses do indeed eat plants and grains, but they are capable of delivering a powerful bite, which can do an impressive amount of damage to whatever (or whoever, as the case may be) the horse has clamped on to.

No foolin’!

The trouble is horses can’t see what their mouth is doing.

I knew a horse who liked bologna sandwiches, but never one who liked pickles.

Good thing the horse didn’t go after her nose!

Pickles? What loco horse likes pickles?1 Now, maybe brussels sprouts, a.k.a. Broomie sprouts….
