Don’t mistake a sense of humor with a lack of intelligence. Slim is much sharper intellectually than he is given credit by readers or … to this point … Mr. Scancarelli. C’mon Jim, give Slim a break.

Fangirl, I think Slim might be corriged temporarily, but it would take a team of dedicated professionals.

HectorPriam said, about 7 hours ago “Slim’s the only mechanic the GA Garage has had for over five years and he works on 21st century cars with sophisticated electronics systems that require specialized tools, equipment, and training?”

Hector hows why oldbooger is right. Slim might have an “odd” sense of humor, but it takes more brains than I have to work on these newer cars. Give him a lot of credit there

He just needs to work on his humor now.

Why doesn’t Slim have his own computer to study up on new car/truck models. For repair.

YellowPeeps, it is always a pleasure when I can find myself to be in total agreement with you.

Slim is confusing “incorrigible” with “cut of your jib.” He thinks Clovia is making a pass at him.

Sounds similar to “adorable”. Kinda sorta.
