    Years ago, our brand new puppy wanted the toy that the older dog had, and that she was not going to give up. She was the Alpha. All of a sudden, the new puppy ran to the door barking up a storm. Naturally, the older dog went to go see what was going on. The puppy quietly looped back to where she could get the toy and took it away.

    Terriers were bred to hunt vermin like rats and mice. No matter which breed of terrier, they have strong jaw muscles. They don’t let go if they don’t want to! :-D
